The complete machine is mounted on the IVECO 380 E 6 x 4 truck (380 hp) (installation on the IVECO 8 x 8 is possible too). Skyline, mainline and haulback line drum of the cableway Syncrofalke are equipped with hydrostatic transmissions.
The original solution of the mainline and haulback line drum recuperation is founded on both drums being positioned on the same shaft, when the main drum is propelled by one variable displacement hydraulic motor and both of the drums are joined by the second hydraulic motor. This construction type allows ideal synchronization of winching/unwinching velocity and high speed of the loaded carriage (up to 10 m.s-1).
Therefore, cableway Syncrofalke can be called "a universal cableway". For both uphill and downhill logging only one type of carriage can be used. The straw line drum with a polypropylen line belongs to the standard equpment, such as a radio control from the worksite. Two meters between the tower and the operator's cabin increase work safety.
