Furrow Tree Planter RZS-2

The furrow tree planter RZS-2 is proposed for mechanised planting of both bare-root and containerized (max. container size 8 cm) planting stock, after the clearcut and brush removal, with the maximum stump high limited by the tractor clearancy hight. The propelling unit of the furrow tree planter is an agriculture wheeled type tractor with front driven axle and engine output 50 and more kW or skidder type LKT 81.

The RZS-2 is suspended on the tractor´s three-point hitch. Hydraulic oil for lifting and lowering of the planting mechanism is taken from the ISO outer outlet of the tractor´s hydraulic circuit. The machine lifting when passing obstacles is provided by the foot-operated hydraulic control valve operated by the worker sitting on the left side.

The actual planting is carried out by one or two workers. Lifting of the machine over the terrain obstacles is provided by foot-operated hydraulic distributor handled by the worker left side sitting. All the crew is a tractor driver and one or two human planters changing themselves in machine operation and subsequent planting quality control during the shift.

To a customer's order, the furrow tree planter can be modificated as one-seat planter; then is called RZS-1.
