The Habrůvka Arboretum

This youngest and smallest arboretum on the premises of TFE Křtiny has an area of mere 2.5 ha. It is situated in the Moravian Karst near the Hraniční Road in the Habrůvka Forest District inside the complex of forests between the villages of Habrůvka and Rudice. Its significance is however unique as it is the only one of local comparable facilities occurring on the acidic site. These conditions presume the occurrence of tree species other than in the Křtiny and Řícmanice Arboreta.

With respect to the fact that the Habrůvka Arboretum is still under construction, it has not been opened to public yet; up to now it is used only by students and teachers from the MZLU Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology.
