The MENDELU forests are above all a natural “laboratory” for scientists and students. They deal with a number of projects of both national and international importance. In some of them, the staff of ŠLP Křtiny are also involved, because only after the results have been verified in practice and their application, the research becomes meaningful. The widest possible range of practical examples of forest management, including nursery and sawmill production, is key to high-quality field education and excursions.
